We've been working hard for two weeks to get ready for Americheer. To give you the extra edge, Coach Heather arranged for a special surprise for you.
All Panthers will meet at the Convention Center at 3:00 on Saturday. Meet us by Hall E. From there we will escort you to the Panther Lair (your own private practice room and sanctuary). This room is designed to give the Panther teams the space to walk through routines and work to be flawless at Americheer. Being together in the room will help you work out the jitters and get super pumped to light up the competition floor.
This room is specifically for you - no other team will be permitted in the Panther Lair. It's not a parent or a sibling hangout spot. It is YOUR PRIVATE practice room - Panthers only. Coach Heather reserved it for the entire weekend. Isn't she the berries!
Yep, we're the nice gym in town. We don't retaliate against negative comments from other gyms. MPA All Stars are cute and sweet and they get good grades. What can I say? My kids are perfect angels.
The good guys should never be underestimated. Panthers look fluffy and gentle - but they are fearless in the jungle. They are mighty and strong and magnificent. They have no problem taking on a much larger animal and winning the fight. We expect you to be perfect fluffy Panthers at all times at Americheer (because Panthers have manners) - however, when you walk on the mat and the music starts....it's a different story. Get ready to unleash the beast!

Anyone ever see a Panther in the wild? I have! I met her while I was in Africa. She had hunted down and killed antelope all by herself. I watched her carry the antelope across a field, and the carry her meal (which was about as big as her) all the way to the way up a tree. [It's true! I have the pictures!].
Panthers are truly amazing animals. They are strong and sound yet beautiful and graceful. When the very first group of All-Star Cheerleaders walked through the doors at Midwest those are the attributes that we took into mind when deciding on a mascot. The Panther was a purposeful decision.
Just so you know the choosing of the colors blue and black were done with a purpose to. A melanistic panther’s (black panther) skin is black and blue. They are true to their colors all the way through. Go ahead! Shave their fur off! They’ll still be black and blue!!
Yup, Panthers are great. I can only think of one problem with a Panther, they are solitary animals. Just think, if ONE Panther can chase down an antelope and carry it up a tree just imagine what a gaggle of Panthers could do if they worked together as a team? Move over lions, there’s new royalty in town. I think that Midwest Panthers are the new Queen's of the jungle!
Yeah yeah Glitz Rocks!!! You guys are going to be fantabulous!!!
I am really happy that we have a lair to practice in for this weekend now we won't be in a hall! YEAH!!
I love you all!! lets work together this weekend as a team to be the best ever!! Prove to the world that they better watch their back because the panthers are on top and nothing can stand in our way!!
